Video taken by an $8 keychain cam. Quality is pretty good for the price.
Video unshaken with virtualdub with deshaker plugin. Ms movie maker to join various pieces of the avi and speed up of the video by 8x. Video could of been better if I chose not to zoom and had a better mount for the camera.

  • how far will an ezip go with x2 batteries on manual throttle doing moderate pedalling?

  • @1sick93 I go about 16 miles on two batteries full throttle! I charge the battery at work. They finish charging at the end of my work day and I'm ready to go home. I bought a new PING-lithium phosphate battery. That should take me 16 miles on one charge and I can get rid of those 50lbs of seal lead acid batteries.

I've gone about 9-10 miles on one battery with moderate pedalling. WIth two batteries and some pedalling you should be able to get around 16-20 miles!

  • NICE, vid, how do you have it mounted, maybe some cushion industrial strength velcro would make it less jumpy,

    but nice vid man,

  • @basque31 I wrapped a 2in section of my handle bar with pipe insulation. Then I used a velcro strap to hold the pipe insulation AND a fabric belt loop. I slipped the camera into the loop. Since I can slip it in or out with a tug, I put a lanyard on it just in case it slips out during a bump (and it has saved the camera 3x). The next time I do this, the camera will not move. I'm going to cut indent into the foam pipe insulation and have the camera rest in the recess w/a velco belt holding it in.

  • where do you live with roads that are only meant for bicycles? ive never seen that

  • How about a picture of your rig?

  • Very inventive. Maybe Tennessee will explore the concept of adding bicycle lanes. That would allow eZip-ing to a number of locales, or work. Nice video. Great job.
