OMG... This is Tony your old HML pal... I just watched your video and WOW, I'm sooo very happy for you. I dont have the words to express how impressed I am!!! I had a huge smile watching this video!
Congrats to all of the University of Miami"Canes Biggest Loser"participants. I know it isn't easy to get started and stay motivated BUT you can do it! I did it! 110 lbs. lost and now maintaining.
I want to thank the Wellness Center for including my story/video in the ULearn computer based module of "Fundamentals of Weightloss". I hope you will be inspired and motivated as I was and have been by the many people I've known and stories I've read about the struggle of getting and staying fit.
Thank you to all that have posted feedback comments at my personal website on Zoomshare (search "Sabandadrianne")
and my facebook wall. I'm so happy when someone tells me I've motivated or inspired them. I'm especially proud of my brother who has gotten back into the routine of working out and is looking great again!
(Adrianne) Ok, over the Holidays, I received a new pair of work-out gloves as a gift. I tried them and couldn't EVEN complete my rowing work-out that day with those new gloves. Luckily, I still had my old gloves that I've been using for over a year and put those on and completed my work-out. I LOVE my old gloves! They really make a difference in how effective my rowing is and how much benefit I get from it. I HIGHLY recommend NEWGRIP gloves! Google them or post a comment if you need info.
(Adrianne)Ok, I've been maintaining for over 6 months & maintenance is HARD but doable. My new challenge is to help kids (school-age) understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle. I've hit an obstacle though...my niece who is 11 is disgusted by my loose skin left over from the dramatic weight gain/dramatic weight loss. I've found this to be the common reaction AND even worse...THEY'RE scared to be left with the loose skin...I need a pro-bono (free/donated) skin lift...
Thanks jmb6g! I've actually improved my technique and form since this video was done 6 months ago...Thank you for your feedback! It wasn't easy "performing" on camera...I just wasn't relaxed and being myself during the 3 hour video shoot. I don't know how performers do it!
Congrats on your weight loss. Amazing. Your rowing form is pretty good, but remember to push your arms back first before sliding forward on the seat. This probably doesn't make much difference on an rowing machine, but is important if you ever try rowing on a boat, which I absolutely suggest you do because it is so fun. Also, you may want to try out RowPro (online rowing).
Wow! Tony! Thanks so much for the great feedback! I I guess this is as far as I got with my Drama background...oh well.
I'm continuing to try to maintain and that is the hard part.
I hope you are well and thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment :)
Hope to talk more soon!
