hill climb CRX beech mountain

This run is on the last day. The course was shortened because of an earlier accident. mustang+powerpole= last event ever at Beech :( You can see the skid mark at the end of the vid. It was skid ditch power pole, the offending pole has police tape around it and is visible on left at slow down. Beech Mountain is a ski resort in the high country of NC. This is Beech mtn pkwy "the backside". The ski slope elevation gain is 830 vertical feet. The road gain is around 600'. The switch back turns are insane. This footage was taken with a vx2000. My thanks to all the drivers and the SCCA. If you participated in this event please contact me. I do have a list so...no funny business.

they should have a race on the other side i have a bike so the backside is a little rough but i can hit over 105mph in two spots on the front. ps the local will hate you if you ride a bicycle because u don't have the right of way here

Hallowed ground that...it literally made Lance the man he went on to become. I hope to ride it sometime, as reading that section in his book gave me goosebumps for a solid twenty minutes
