I reckon Mozzer had the album No More Heroes back then when he was listening to punk, and this is an ironic hommage to his fav song as I expect the others songs were probably too misogynist or laddish in tone.

Dont know why this song gets so much criticism. Perhaps not his best lyrically but its a brilliant and fun pop song
