Aye. Sim was approached in 1982 about doing an animated film, tentatively based on High Society. Since that was too complicated, Sim thought maybe a pre-Cerebus #1 story would be better and came up with these three vignettes that would take place before the credits as a way of introducing the character. Generally unhappy with the whole thing, the project was released as a portfolio of all the animation cells. This one is rather special, as it is the only time we actually get to see Magus Doran!
