@Grimwyrd I did almost the same but didt use compass to undpowder. Not sure what though and instead of the basic ballistic kit I did zip ammo. I also try to go armorcraft.

so do the crafting/salvaging timers keep going even if you are logged out (like in EVE)?

So you keep saying that you are a crafter / melee. is it possible to be that advanced in crafting and still be effective as a melee fighter?
Im big into crafting in most games, but i would hate to suffer in pvp and such because of it, but ireally dont want to have one crafting character and one fighter.

1 red at lvl 19? wow...i'm lvl 10 and so far i've been constantly broke. doing quests gives me little to no money and everytime i happen to have a few blue chips i spend them on recipes and/or skills.
what would you recommend for making money in this game? oh btw: nice video.

Well, I'm a crafter, so I simply figured out what I thought people would buy, made a bunch of it, and sold it on the Auctioneer. Most of my money at that time came from Tires. I noticed that researching higher level tires destroyed lots of basic tires, so I sold a couple dozen tires at about 19 blue each. Of course that was several weeks ago. I sell other things now.

You would probably get the most from:
Science (for making Gunpowders used in Ammo)
Ballistics (for making Ammo/Guns)
For leveling Science, I started with Dye until skill 18, then Compass until Gunpowder.
For Ballistics, I think I made Basic Ballistic Kits and then Light Pistol Ammo.
