I can sorta feel you, Chugga. It's kind of the same way I feel about old cartoons I go back and watch now that I used to when I was a kid. Some of it turns out to be really bad. The cool thing though, is finding stuff that DOES age well, and stays good no matter how old you get. That's worth all the stuff that doesn't live up to your memories.

The reason why the bosses seem easy is probably due to the spicy spray and purple combo.

And here I thought that I'm the only one who liked the first Pikmin game better. Sure this game has, like many sequels tend to, a lot more content, better bosses and all that, but the simplicity of the first one, not to mention the setting (being a story of survival on an unknown planet instead of a mere treasure hunt) just makes me like it more.

That being said, I enjoy both of them very much. These games are money well spent.

I personally think that Pikmin 2 is superior than Pikmin 1 (although I do think the enemies were better in Pikmin 1) I just liked the variety in Pikmin 2, the new features, new areas, the strategy involved, having to divide your team between 5 types of Pikmin and the whole two captains thing, dividing the squad up to accomplish different tasks. Challenge Mode was also vastly improved in Pikmin 2, so yeah, personally I think Pikmin 2 is the better game :)
