The Luna Show met up with voguing legend Deasja Laperla. I get emails all the time from people in NY and out of state that want me to interview specific people from the ballroom scene. Deasja is one of those most requested interviews. Deasja has been in the scene since the mid 1990s and she has proven over the years that she is one of our legends. Along with Kristina, Ashley, Alloura, and Sania, Deasja helped redesign FQ performance to levels that made us excited to want to watch. She is focused and ready to give back to her community.

If u were any type of "ballroom bitch," you would know that Daesja is a legend because of her showstopping productions, unique way of voguing, and being heavily involved in other issues related to our community. Mama knows how to put on a show for the kids just like all the other legends.That is what legendary status calls for. I hope the next time you try to come for someones status in the scene, you are well educated on that status as well as what the persons achievements in the ballroom are.
