but here in Holland whe are not giving people heroin like yeah go party some.

but only the people that have a sirieus addiction problem or people that live on the streets get and only can use it in a controled room.so that there is no dirty needles being shard and there is a change to stop a addion by giving methadone not real herion.

this way is much better than forgetting this people and go campaigning on war on drugs

@archifx no, but making it illegal definitely didn't caused alcohol consumption to go down either. And it probably made it worse. Prohibition was in way, I suppose, the foundation of organised crime..

Exactly, they make it sound as if the government is doing so 'for funsies'. After some browsing, I found out it's some sort of countering against the petty crimes these addicts were performing for buying heroin. While there is still a discussion going on about whether this is the right solution, at least the government is trying something.
