My dad had an LP of Jimmy Cliff in the seventies....
This song really struck a chord with me, and i loved it ever since...
His soft voice, the reggae vibe, melody and rhythm..and especially his lyrics of Hope and Peace are always present!...:-)

This is my favourite song from Jimmy Cliff...He is the original singe, Boney M don't even come close.

Released on the Island Record in late 60's - another track worth seeking out is "Can't stop worrying" These were only great reggae songs of the era (to my rock and roll ears!)
