Andrew stayed at Lackland for a day or two before they shipped him to Keesler. It wasn't long!

Thanks! just wanted to know, I will be going in to the ANG soon, and didnt know if I was going to be able to go home and see my baby daughter before I go :(

Depending on your specialty, you may not leave Lackland at all. Andrew's friend from high school was there for BMT just a few weeks behind him and he did all of his tech training at Lackland as well. He was in Security Forces while Andrew is in Communications. Anyway, God bless you as you go.

Andrew is a reservist with the Air National Guard. He's in college now and serves one weekend a month, and that's how it will go for six years unless he is unexpectedly deployed. He's been home very little since tech school!
