No real title ideas so I went with the stage.

Now, unlike Minoriko, who was released a while after Shizuha, Gengetsu's sister Mugetsu came out only 2 weeks later. I hate to say it but there's a fair amount of flaws here. Her dashes are invincible, HCB+C does a ton of damage (750!) if not blocked, after pressing start (more on this later) she has random invincibility frames on her IDLE POSE, Elis (QCF+X) and Elly (QCF+Y) strikers don't make sense (both were affiliated with Yuka, not her), strikers aren't sprited/animated very well, FX on grab looks misaligned, transparant pixels on her in her large portrait, too easy to autocombo into QCB+A/B, QCF+A/B after start looks awkward and hits behind her as well, start's cutscene looks odd, both strikers can be summoned at once (though they usually won't hit tandem), start uses 1 powerbar, QCB+B does a ton of chip damage, after pressing start her powergain becomes extremely fast, and stand X after pressing start causes huge lag. That's a mouthful. Honestly, it's not bad, but there's a lot to be fixed.

Now, this is actually the second Luna made for mugen (though the first was named Xiangfeng-KFM for some reason). I'm told she's too fast, there's infinite priority, one too many defense options, and her damage is high. Well, I agree. She also has the same striker as Ayane does, which is disappointing, as I wanted something different. Her playstyle is tricky. She doesn't dash, but does weird stances, one of which allows for a special throw. Her lone super is triggered by shooting enough bullets, and it's a level 3. Her life is set to 1334 for whatever reason. Also, if you finish a match in one of her stances, it delays the winpose by like 20 seconds. Other than this, it's better than Xiangfeng-KFM, and actually not bad.

Char used: Luna Himeki by chikuchikugonzales
Against: Mugetsu by "Elecbyte" (unsigned)
Stage: Misty Canyon by profylebyron
BGM: dBu - Crystallized Silver [Letty Whiterock's [Perfect Cherry Blossom stage 1 boss]] theme (from Necromanza)

  • It seemslike that touhou characters are now starting to come up as muge characters. Cool. :P

  • Thank you. *does that*

  • @PerryMason123 config.st, go to the Select Support state. Comment out the "Value = (Root,Palno + 1) % 2" and comment in the Value = 0 (For the default Assist), Value = 1 (For Hilda), or Value = -1 (No Assist).

  • Alright, so which file and what would I have to change to switch Luna to this?

  • @PerryMason123 Checked and Ayane also has this assist as well.

  • Interesting. Does Ayane have this one too?

  • @PerryMason123 The secret one is a younger version of the main boss from the source game, Hilda. She has most (if not all) of her older self's attacks, and in the source game, she was only accessible in VS mode through the random assist option.

  • Secret one?

  • I like playing as this Luna, but I did some personal modifications so that her basics, instance attacks, and the physical hit of both variations of Gunport Roar (The big gun attack) have CLSN2s over the CLSN1s. Also lowered her health from 1334 to 1000 and her attack power from 100 to 75.

You can also configure her striker between the one she has, the secret one, or no striker at all. I personally don't find a use for strikers, so I'm going to have the striker off.
