  • what sports have you shot it with ?

  • @BillabongNJ Many lol. Soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, football, basketball, baseball, swimming, volleyball, water polo, and probably more that I'm forgetting haha

  • @srvwannabe nice nice I'm thinking about getting it for mainly surfing and baseball swimming .. etc model nikon have u mounted this lens on

  • @BillabongNJ Many again haha. d2h, d90, d300s, d7000, d700. It has some back-focusing issues on the d7000. I can fix it with fine tuning but just been too lazy. Its not a huge issue

  • How did you get it 799? they are now 949!

  • @ny1fanta

If you look at the description you'll see that I made this video over a year ago. They've since gone up in price

  • @srvwannabe oh yeah ive seen it on amazon. it cost around 1.6k well if i wanna buy that lens. i would rather save up some more for the canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS version I right?

  • @seventy7whitesheep

Definitely. At that price you should definitely go with the Canon version. The sigma is very good but if you're going to spend that much, get the best-Canon or Nikon.

  • @saijames23 Yes, it will work absolutely fine. It's a great lens - you will love it!

  • will this perfectly work on Nikon D3100?

  • I have this lens and have compared it head to head with the Nik 70-200 VRII. they are dead set almost for sharpness and bokeh. this lens does start to suffer with low shutter speeds less than 1/60 sec, even with your best steadiness. however I picked mine up for $500, like new. worth every penny. would really like to see someone compare this lens against the 70-200 VR2, and 80-200 2.8. turn the VR off and mount them all tripod based and see which really is optically better, or worth the extra $.

  • can we use this on DX camera? Like D5100? I'm really confuse about 70-200, there was one store told me that the 70-200 F2.8 SIGMA APO D EX HSM may not work on Digital Cameras, is it true?

  • Does it need a camera with a built in focus motor to focus? For example, will it focus on the D5000?
