if one of ur headphones dont work then you dont have to buy any thing to fix ur ipod headphone jack!!!!! you just need a flathead screwdriver and philips head screwdriver. its probay best if you use those special tools for the 2nd and 3rd gen . If you take off the headphones and put them back they should still be working. dont forget to comment, like n subscribe have any questions just comment below....
i'm not responsible to what ever bad happens to ur ipod.

  • I just recently experienced this problem and tested my earbuds with it. So I know it's not my stereo headphones causing the problem, but rather the output. So, does this method work for a 3rd generation iTouch?

Also, it'd be wise for others of you to test out the toothpick method and see if there's lint.

  • @AshleyRoseNeal ive heard that it works for the 3rd gen but there are 2 screws instead of 1. im not 100% sure if it works. look at other videos to take off the screen on the 3rd gen. dont use a screw driver cuz u will probally crack or scratch the screen.

  • That guy is stoned

  • Can you do it without taking it apart

  • What if the hack phone jack is so loose that whenever I tighten it up even with both headphones working that if I move it, it loses the hearing again :(

  • @headdofstate too bad you're too stupid to do it carefully enough, or to take it to best buy in the first place. If it were that big of a deal to have a material possession than you should have probably taken the responsibility yourself. It isn't someone else's fault you took the advice of taking a screwdriver to an ipod.

  • i don't want to jinx it, but for now this worked for me. Thanks for the tip, hopefuly it doesn't break again but i'm not optimistic

  • Definitely just broke the screen. Its not your fault but just letting you know its not that easy. And all this calling people asshole etc is lame. :Please address the fact that people are breaking their iPod trying to follow this video.

  • @piperpipe201 That's what a few friends said to me. And the thing is, I was just afraid of cracking it. I have no way of replacing this since I bought it from a friend. But thank you very much. :)
