Hornby Eurostar passing

Although not strictly accurate it is still a nice model to have in my collection

how did you connect all those carriges because i have the four car set and on both sides of the carriges are female couplings and if i buy new carriges they will be female as well wont they oh and absolute fab layout 5*

@hornbyboy100 Be carefull what you buy. You need R4013C Divisible coaches which do not have the grill at one end. If you can find any as they seem hard to find again.They come in packs of 2 one with a female coupling the other with a male. Unclip the middle of your train.Then the end of an R4013C with the clip goes onto the end coach with the grill The same with the second coach so you have a male and female coupling in the middle of the train. Then you can add as many R4013C as you like :)

There is one carrage less than you counted :) The real trains are actualy 2 x 9 coach sets plus loco coupled back to back so that they can be taken apart in an emergency and one half driven out of the tunnel

Brilliant train set and layout, can you confirm that to extend a Hornby R1071 Set with 4 coaches I need the R4013C pack. Thanks
