Poppies and other wild flowers in our ORGANIC crop support pest predators such as ladybirds and hoverfly larvae who both eat aphids for us. We also undersow spring-sown crops with clover, birdsfoot trefoil and herbs ready for the grazing animals at the next stage of rotation. These add to the biodiversity and all of these plants support wildlife below and above the ground.
