These are real swords. They're just not sharpened. (Although a good piercing jab and you'll probably end up with a punctured stomach.)

Russian hardcore bouhurtsman have stable 3 elements:
1. Drink as hell during the game(20-30% of them in the game drunk permanently)
2. Wear such heavy armor as he can
3. Visited a hospital with some damages
