  • immigrant song was one they opened with often and the same for rock and roll when they made it...but they tried to stay diversified...its when they play stuff like this that they realize they need to switch it up a bit

  • yea, even in 1980 they went back to an oldie but goodie. The Trait Kept A-Rollin',

  • what a song to open with ...i would have expected immigrant to be numba one

  • well they played immigrant all the time, this is all about the stuff they hardley ever played... :)

  • listen to the Ventures 2000 lb Bee, then listen to Black Dog. Page was definitely a fan.

  • @HuntersMoon73 i believe he did, way back when he was a session guitarist

  • Love this song!

  • sounds fake 'stereo' if you listen closely

  • @HuntersMoon73 Not even! I'm surprised Page didn't retitle it and put his name on it.

  • its so weird hearing bonham playing that pop snare beat haha

  • good evenin he says

  • Wow, that's gotta be one of their best setlists!

  • Ha! And they did it as the opening number too - brave.

I wonder if Jimmy played on the original Ventures record.
