  • I have been listening to the "Merry Christmas, The Supremes" Christmas album since I was a kid, and I'm 48 now. So many memories of listening to this while decorating the tree as a kid. Now it's my tradition to make this the first Christmas album I listen to EVERY year !!! And I'm a WHITE dude !!! Wonder what Diana and the Supremes would think about that !!!!

  • I believe they would love it!

    Keep on playing that album!

    Happy Holidays =)

  • This song is from the 1965 album "Merry Christmas" by the legendary trio.

  • @gatech42 "And I'm a WHITE dude!!!", lol. You're probably gay to boot.

  • Very funny song! Thank you!

  • Well now that I know the Adantes were backing Diana on most of these Christmas songs this kills it for me. Talk about bursting my bubble. I really thought way back then it was just Diana, Mary and Flo. Oh well there goest that thought.....

  • This song wouldn't seem out of place on the Phil Spector Xmas album.

  • @BAREBACKER Good to know!

  • @shmuli9 the andantes never EVER sang on a supremes record while florence was in the group, this only happened after 1967 when the vocals were recorded separatly. Florence would never have stood for that. besides they didnt need any additional help with her voice! the back ups on all supremes tracks up to and including 'reflections' were done by flo mary and diana

  • @gatech42 Considering that most of the Supremes fans WERE white, they probably be delighted. I listen to this album every year too. This is one of my fave songs, but now I'm wondering if Florence and Mary even sing backups on this, or is it the Andantes?

  • @westphillysoul they would love it, i do the same xx

  • I will always remember all these songs from that album for many years to come.
