On this day I took my wife out on the boat for her first fishing trip. She learned to cast, work a lure and fight a fish and she was successful on her first trip! THATS MY WIFE!!!! LOL! There had been a few warm days before so I knew I could coax a red on topwater and an overslot bull confirmed my theory. We only caught a few catfish, blues, a flounder and a red.. not a good day for what I usually do in Steinhatcee but everyday on the water is a good day, especially when you can spend it with someone you love.

11 inch rapala skitterwalk, chrome with black back. On the east coast I have to downsize but on the west they like it big.
