In the first part of this two-part series, High School Football America takes you to high school football's oldest game between Norwich Free Academy and New London High School in Connecticut.

These two schools played the first high school football game in 1875, and haven't stopped.

In this episode, Trisha Hoffman takes you to the pep rally and Powder Puff football game at New London High School the day before the 2009 Thanksgiving Day clash between the two schools.

  • Irish James,

While your point is a good one, you don't have the entire story. Unfortunately, calls to NFA weren't returned, so we weren't able to schedule time there. On Gameday, NFA's AD did a nice job of balancing things off. Glad you watched the video and congratulations on a good 2010 season!

    Jeff

  • Good thing this wasn't one side reporting. It would be bad if this was about a rivalry and they only showed one side of that rivalry - or they only interviewed the coach of one school. I wonder why they didn't show that New London lost. High School Football America needs to go back to film making school.
