In this video I show you how to play some advanced Albert Lee style double stops similiar to those used on Boolish Boogie and Fun Ranch Boogie. Video includes lesson example, explanation, slowed down videos with three different angles, and at the end jam tracks to play over. You can download the lesson tab in ASCII format from http://www.rustycash.net/Tab/alds01082010.txt.

  • Getting that level of independence between the flatpick and the fingers isn't as easy as you make it look! I have a jazz background and I'm only really seriously getting into the hybrid picking thing now. Thanks for post a detailed lesson.

  • It's about time a GOOD teacher came to Youtube!!

  • great lesson.

    God bless.

  • Wow You are a great picker and a very good teacher.

The way you explained the chord shape perfectly done.

I think you have a G&L pick-up in the front,

Have not seen fret that big in a Tele since I sold my 1957

I had it re-freted with jumbo frets .

    Great Job

    thanks for sharing
