All of the lines spoken by the actors are direct quotes from the politicians involved in the blasphemy debate, going back to Eamon DeValera in 1937.

Sorry mate but it's not good. It's all very arch and mannered and you can tell the girls aren't used to film acting. I'd recommend reshooting it, getting the ladies to just deliver it straight to camera - let the camera do the performing - and if that's you narrating then the same goes for you, no need for the silly voice, the material's silly enough on its own.

Ahern appeases the majority with an outdated and disgusting bill and suspends free speech so that the faithful may be spared hurt feelings... well I pay tax, and I'm an atheist/secularist/anti-theist­/weirdo/heathen/hell-bound boy/emo/attention-seeker(take your pick according to the width of your mind) and therefore some of my money went towards the 1.2 billion paid to institutional abuse victims in compensation. If I can no longer criticise organised religion, can I have a refund Fr.Ahern?
