Amazing information. Great effort from the Para's. 1978 I was a Canadian, playing hockey and drinking beer form stubby bottles. Not a care in the world, while at same time fellow teens from Rhodesia and South Africa were fighting for their lives in Africa. SADF and the Rhodies are a tough but fun bunch, would rather drink a beer than pick a fight with them.
Great video series, thanks for posting

lol, "he crawled into my barrel...looked at me and I looked at him, he knew it was over for him." Classic The oupa's of the SADF funny blokes.

how can you even call them swapo terrorist ?when u r the one attacking them ?it sad that innocent ppl have lost their lives ! we will remember them forever?
-
the terrorists were the white people fighting our freedom fighters. Zimbabwe belongs to all those who love it not to a minority who think they are better than the majority. pamberi neZimbabwe, pasi neRhodesia. We won the war and you say Rhodesians dont die, Zimbabweans will outlive you racist bastards!!

I would actually pay for the video. Full DvD price, but only if I were given a link to download it, instead of the DvD version, TBH...
This is a very very interesting subject. Arguably THE most deadly & overlooked conflict of it's generation.

Que Bonito lo que dicen pero no fue así.......
Perdieron y se vieron forzados a firmar la PAZ.

I never wore a tin hat in the bush

The SADF's steel helmet is quite interesting . Looks like China's PLA's @ Japanese WW2's helmet but this is uniquely South African !
