@apsv85 That´s because, according to their Constitution, whoever whose a parent is Bulgarian is Bulgarian, even if, e.g. doesn´t speak Bulgarian or has Bulgarian citienship. Maybe the Bulgarian people take pride in that, and if so, let them! It´s no harm!

@tarikattarikatov 3° world is an old term that not exists anymore and it has nothing to do with economy. Brazil and Bulgaria are both developing countries with a high Human Development Index.
