@Pepper6464, to continue with my comment below, you didn't even realise it or mean it, but by using the word "cameraman" instead of camera woman or camera person, you yourself are still under the male controlled mind set in society. I know that in universities such as in Australia using gender based words such as mankind instead of humankind is unacceptable and marks will be docked on an essay using gender based words. Chauvinism is very evident in American society more than the religious one

Did you realise that you yourself are using an unequal sexist grammar by using the word "cameraman"? Why does that career have to be a man? Why not use the word camera woman or better yet camera PERSON? Using gender based terms are very unequal and chauvinistic which is still very evident in American society even though it claims that women are equal.

@Pepper6464 Also, as far as separating for prayers... we separate for prayers for many reasons, one being as a precaution from impure thoughts on either side. When praying, we want our entire focus on our communication with G-d. This is not me saying that we will automatically have impure thoughts if we see men or if they see us, its just an extra precaution
