Hello dangermous1968, thank you for the information, as at least some other UFO sightings are what you describe. But in this case the "oil platforms" flew, they surrounded the aircraft, and they are not seen by the naked eye (these images were captured on FLIR that the pilots used, [these lights could not be seen without the use of infrared]). Also, I've yet to see cloud formations that move as quickly as jet aircraft. The flames explanation doesn't match the pilot's descriptions. Take care.

those are flames from distant oil platforms burning off natural gas and it is the clouds that are moving fast due to windy weather. You can see the tiny flashing lights that are in close proximity to the flames .... those are the lights that you see on every tall structure put there to warn helicopters .... this thing is old news...Ps halo3 asswipe put down the controller and pick up a book once in a while
