Sony DSR 200ap DVCAM For Sale

Here's a video for a Sony DVCAM camera currently on sale on ebay. Bidding goes live at 19:15 hrs GMT (or thereabouts) on Sunday 13th Feb 2011. Ebay item number: 190501699123



This is a PAL camera taking the large blue DVCAM tapes. All is OK except for an intermittent onboard mic fault -- sometimes it's fine, sometimes there's fuzzy interference. Never been an issue for me as I turn the rec level down or use my sennheiser mics instead.

Camera DOES NOT come with any batteries or power adaptor. Just a lead to connect it to a Sony adaptor. Simple reason is I need the power accessories for my Sony V1 HDV camera. Item will also some with Soft carry bag, battery pod, user manual and some new DVCAM tapes to get your started.

On a personal note I've been wanting to sell this for ages, but every time I think about listing on ebay I realise what a lovely camera it is, and decide to hold on to it. However, the simple truth is I never use it, haven't done so since 2006 (!) and can't justify keeping a camera I don't use anymore.

I am buying this model for an indi doco, I just want to know how well this model performs in extreme low light conditions? I know the specs say 3 lux, exactly how "dark" is this?
