We are proud to present an interview with legendary producer Jack Douglas to talk about recording, mixing and studio work in general. Jack has truly worked with everyone already from his year at the Record Plant. The list includes Miles Davis, The James Gang, Alice Cooper, New York Dolls and Aerosmith just to mention a few. Most legendary recordings with The Who and John Lennon have made him one of the most respected professionals in the industry. Since the introduction of the Genelec 1031's and 1032's in the US market, these has been the only active monitors he needs to get his mixes working.

  • Gelelics sound great but i find them to sound too good, i also get the same onions from others, that they sound so good no other monitors can deliver the same performance, so... they are just a higher standard in their own right, i like DynAudio bm6as or 15s, but who am i right lol

  • no one else can compete on a price per performance rating. also the product line varies from simple to complex. Without Genelec studio monitors would be a difficult thing to get right.
