@speck211 lol same here. Poor, broken hearted Merlin :( *hugs*

@SpockLover27 Yes she does. In Series 3 Episode 13. She talks to Merlin through a water puddle as she is now The Lady of the Lake.

Well answer to the top comment I think it's cause setting his loved one on fire like burning her probably never seeing her again, that's harsh

@McJessica1616 good point.

The most depressing part of this is that he can't have a lasting relationship with any new introduced character as in the legend The Lady of the Lake is the only person Merlin ever loves.
I would have prefered if she was a recurring character in the season and they killed her at a later date, at which she would become the lady of the lake.

@angrynutrients I agree with your first paragraph :)
Although, I thought it was good in a way that she died, otherwise the 'Sword in the Stone' part of the legend wouldn't have had the potential to happen yet (Freya turns into the Lady of the Lake at the end of 2x09 I think; and shows this in 3x13, by giving Merlin Excalibur)

@shootingstarsonmars Yeah but she could have died as part of the season finale, then the sword in the stone could happen at season 3 anyway.

@angrynutrients Maybe... think it would have been better if she had died an episode or two before the series finale, so she could find the sword (if that's possible :P )
