Microsoft's 'Mungo Park'

"Mungo Park" was an internet travel project that Microsoft supported between 1996-1998. We did about a dozen trips in different exotic locations, documented online with dispatches, digital photography, audio and video. Writers and guests included Dr. Ruth, T.C. Boyle, Tim Cahill, Martha Stewart, Lyle Lovett, Shari Belafonte and others.
