Again, see comment for part one - this seems to me to be cars nearly hitting deer, not deer nearly hitting cars. Its hard enough being human and trying to get about without a vehicle, let alone a creature as flighty as a deer.

You are of course quite right - It is people, usually driving too fast, who hit deer with their vehicles, mainly as they are unaware just how commonly deer cross roads. In the UK around 60,000 deer are hit and killed or severaly injured by vehicles each year ; the human toll is about 500 human injury accidents and c. 10,000 plus significantly damaged cars. I'll amend my wording re deer hitting vehicles ! Thanks.
