This is back when most toys still required at least a certain degree of "imagination". (same with most mid 70's-late 80's video games) Unfortunately in today's age of high tech graphics/special FX & on demand everything, imagination/anticipation are sorely lacking.

Wow, that was amazing to see. I had never seen this commercial. "Play Star Trek like never before" was a great line. The narrator's voice sounds like he was still stuck in the 50's. The Summer of Love didn't affect him at all. The narrator is also presented as an authority figure, I feel.
