Our tiny 500 square foot conch house remains a work in progress, but we are coming along. The floors are strand bamboo, the couch & wardrobes are from Ikea and the countertops are beach glass Corian. The kitchen is fabulous and feels as big as any house I've ever lived in. The key to living in a small space is planning every detail. All items have a spot and clutter is not an option. Our office/studio is a 100 sq foot detached teeny tiny conch house out back and the pool/ deck area are bigger than the actual main house. 3 sets of french doors look out on the pool/deck which is completely fenced in from the lane. It's like living in our own little tropical compound a few blocks from Duval Street. Key West living at it's finest!
This is perfect!
I had an idea like this too. Build the house rather small but with all the things you need, but invest the extra money into ultra high end utilities like your stove and fridge and TV. That's far more cool than more space.

Very beautiful home. Im interested in building small, and I really like your home! Only I have to ask, where is the bathroom? Also can you make a video, even a picture slideshow showing the bathroom and the exterior of the building? I can understand if not for privacy reasons.

I love your home! what advice do you have for us- as we are moving into a much smaller house ourselves- from 1900 to 900 squ feet. I loved your cool magnetic knife rach and the pot rack. I need space saving ideas! Thanks.
