This is a cover of the awesome song "Another Morning" by Cape Breton's own the great JP Cormier. Performed May 24, 2008 at the Gaelic Singers Hall in Breton Cove, Nova Scotia. Me (Allister MacDonald) on rhythm guitar and vocals, Galen Thurber on lead guitar. If you see this one, JP, I'll make it up to you and let you do one of my songs ;)
Sorry, the first verse got cut off because my cameraman is technologically impaired ;)

  • Hey Allister! Man I miss you guys! This song makes me "home" sick. You are a fantastic musician and person.

  • I've come back to listen again 8 months later. You think you're pretty big up there with your lil hat hiding behind that music stand, don't you Officer Big Mac? Has "The Singing Mountie" been used yet as a stage name? you should use it man, bigtime.

  • Great job.. thanks for posting it..love this song.

  • Excellent performance. Can I ask where you found the chords for this song. I would love to play it myself, but I can't find the chords anywhere and I'm having trouble playing it by ear. But once again, good job!

  • Good job man. I Don't think he'll worry about it too much. Imitation is the highest form of flattery afterall.
