Plan has to be done prevent mta service cuts fare increases

Mta wants to have draconian fare increases. Raising fares to 2:50. 30 day Unlimited ride Metro cards to 100 to 125. Eliminate 10 bus routes. 25 routes will no longer have overnight service. Weekend service eliminated on 7 routes. 2 only on Sunday. 11 routes eliminated that have only weekday service. 21 routes altogether being eliminated. New dedicated sources of funding have to be made to eliminatew this plan. Draconian Fare increases increases, service cuts totally unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@shmuelg It was because of Governor Paterson cutting 180 million in aid to the MTA. That was stupid after the bailout was passed. The money was given, then taken away, to go in the State general fund. Bloomberg is also at fault for not doing nothing to stop it.

hayiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid,i couldnt agree more,cutting the b39 over the willy bridge was bad enough,but to cut the b23 on 16th ave in boro park,brooklyn was just plain deadly.Countless people ive met along 16th ave have tole me horror stories that are happening to them and others because of a lack of a bus on that busy jewish ave,shame on bloomberg and his cohorts for his utter selfishness and arrogance
