  • I've gone through some hard times with church, and have experienced alot of judgmentalism and ostracism. It has made me pretty bitter and reluctant to be friends with people who call themselves Christians. But everytime I listen to his recordings, whether singing or talking, I really feel convicted to love and forgive, and this is from a guy who was really ostracised. So thankyou, Larry. Wasn't Larry great? Larry's gone, but God's love still comes out in his music.

  • I saw Larry perform many times in the late '60's and early 70's and his testimony had a huge impact on me (still does). He can be summed up by one of his classic lines: "Don't ask me for the answers, I only have one: That a man leaves his darkness when he follows the Son". Thanks Larry for being faithful 'til the end.

  • He was my mentor ;-)

  • Yeah

  • @pazzensutra My Friend, I am sorry that you have experienced difficulties with others that are judgemental. How are you doing today? I live in Brazil as a missionary, but I am American. I would like to extend my hand of friendship to you.

  • Larry Norman came in the U. S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in June of 1972. I had just accepted Christ 3 days before. His testimony, preaching and music launched my faith. I left prison behind 33 years ago and have never returned. I married the prison school teacher who told me God could change my life and have never turned back. To God Be the Glory.

  • larry was a awesome servant, who helped many a douting or falling christian, with his staight forword message. i loved larrys music and him as well, for he wore his heart on the outside for all to see,and hear. his message of hope, love and forgiveness lives on because he was truely a believer. thank you larry !

  • I have also had this happen to me "I've gone through some hard times with church, and have experienced alot of judgmentalism and ostracism. " This is a quote from someone else .This is still going on today May 2011 and I am burned out on people and there Church and there Religions . The Church needs to get back to God and Jesus message not mans . Jesus accepted everyone no mater who they where or how different they may be from what is considered Mans accepted ways. I have dyslexia .

  • @XODutchessOX Hey I just read your comment. It is a shame you never heard Larry while he was alive. As great as hearing his music was seeing him in concert was even better. I could help you discover all of Larry's Best music.

  • @XODutchessOX

Yeah, Larry was that kind of guy. Thankfully his message (Jesus) is IN his music.
