  • Great footage!

In response to the question by TheBaldIbis,I believe the bouncing is done to generate heat. The American Dipper does the same kind of motion and since it's in and out of cold mountain streams all day long,it's the only answer that makes sense to me.

  • More great footage!

  • Wow nice. How close were you and do you use a tripod?

  • This is a beautiful piece of film. Great to know all that raking is worth it!

  • Why the hell do thes birds bounce so much? It seems like a) a total waste of energy and b) an open invitation to a predator......it makes no sense really.

  • Mas que ave parece una pelota que vota y vota.
