LEGEND. How many people have his powerful solos as part of their musical foundation? It boggles the mind. His sound Jabbed straight into my musical heart long before I even knew his name. Just like EVH's solo in Michael Jackson's "Beat It" turned what was really a boring song into a recorded masterpiece, so too Matthias's playing totally transformed "No One Like You". It's unlikely that song would have survived the trash heap without Jabs's awesome inspiration. What an amazing artist!

I was with Matthias when he first played a Strat on KBPI radio in Denver.Matthias,Rudolph and myself.I won a guitar contest and got to meet the Scorps on the "Face the Heat" tour.I won a Gibson Nighthawk,I brought my Jackson and there was a Strat.Rudolph played the Nighthawk,I played mine and Matthias had to play the Strat and he was NOT pleased anyway we played the end of the "Zoo" They gave the Strat to Matthias and the rest is history !!!!!

I reckon every guitar tech worth his salt would want to give him a slap for this! You shoud never, EVER adjust the height of a Floyd style trem (Or any other that uses fulcrum posts) while the strings are under tension! It CAN cause flat spots on the knife edges and even groves in the mounting posts which can affect tuning stability. I'm not saying it WILL, but it CAN!! (I know from experience! Even a real Floyd, a Schaller own brand and a Gotoh can have this happen. Ive had to fix it for folks)
