Today, I take Dragon Claw for another spin as he fights Bill Cosby's 70's lovechild, Fat Albert by DDR. This guy is very beefed up (no pun intended). He has decently high power and attack stats, but his real strength is he overwhelming defense. Not only is his defensive stats high, but also he loves to block and push-back a lot. He also has the Cosby Kids as his strikers, each using a unique attack such as using yo-yos, water guns, a hammer, etc.

I couldn't combo him as I wanted to with Dragon Claw for two reasons. First, the obvious case, Fat Albert's defense is too strong. Second, my moves didn't come out properly as I wanted it to either by control error or by Dragon Claw doing a supped up version of his supers thereby not getting the maximum damage I desired. However, for me to beat Fat Albert, I had to work on the low game and try to use supers at the right moments due to his incredible defense.

This one might take a while, so go grab yourself some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Stage: Scrapyard
BGM: Trash Rush Squash (ZXA Tunes)

  • well your DC skills are decent.

but you seem to be Focusing on sending enemies into the air. you should try to use some of his defult comboes the ai uses

  • I already know how to use his default combos for both his punches and his kicks along with doing his air combos. However, with that being said, doing that is always easier said than done in actual combat rather than in practice mode.

With defensive heavy characters like Fat Albert, the direct approach doesn't always work. Besides, I also try to do his default combos every time I fight. I guess I need one more fight to show what I'm really capable of. (Damn, stiff controller!)
