Part II of my video of WoW on my portable Dell Mini 9 netbook. It runs Shat (without other players all around) at about 10-11 FPS. Part III will be all Dalaran/Wrath of the Lich King Areas.

  • ive never understood why people insist on trying to play games like WoW on netbooks

  • @TheSymbianFreak Eh, more so just "proof of concept". ;-)

  • People are nasty in trade chat on RP servers? I guess that shouldn't surprise me.. Am I correct in assuming you have all your graphic settings down to the minimum? You said you turned one thing down "quite a bit" but I'd be interested in seeing exactly what the settings are.

  • Yeah in any future videos I do for WoW in regards to speed/performance, I'm showing the video settings screen!

  • Disable your addons and see the difference

  • I'm only using Dominos and Bagnon. Nothing crazy.

  • And my PC which cost half as much as your imac runs at 60-150 fps.

    Dont brag about macs bro.

  • What you talkin about. What have you installed on it. I have a dell mini 10V with the same specs but i got a 1.66 ghz processor, 1 gig of ram and the same hard drive. WoW runs AMAZING on my Mini 10V. Even IN CITIES. TO ALL YOU PEOPLE, IF YOU ARE RUNNING THIS ON A NETBOOK, HERES A TIP, IN LAGGY AREAS ZOOM OUT AND LOOK AT THE GROUND. So the game doesn't have to process the background and your current surroundings at the same time.

  • i have a dell mini 10 and really want my comp to work with wow but cant play if im at a 3-5fps im thinking to buy a seagate internal hardrive 500gb 7200rpm barracuda.

will it work better than an external

  • @danmanx2 rofl I dont even remember writing this comment its so long ago

  • Don't be adverse to AMD over a Turion, it's AMD's Celeron. It was never meant to be a contender, it was meant to be cheap and run at low voltage. AMD makes great products and they are 50% cheaper than Intel's for a loss of only about 5% performance, they typically run cooler too. Price doesn't equal performance, Intel's prices are high because they have a bloated monopoly, not because they have any significant advantage.

  • only 200-300$ o . o?

i gots my computer for 600$ its a desktop

    i can play everything ;o

  • @MastaSquidge That price is for the PC itself. Aluminum chassis, no cheap plastic. Top of the line LED LCD with awesome colors, brightness and contrast and 1080p+ reso, wireless mouse and keyboard included - no huge PC with all the cables attached to it - only the imac itself and the powercord, built in speakers and a OS with no virus protection needed, WoW video recording function built in and so on. Quad CPU and ATI GPU. Vsync off = 150-200fps (waste of fps) and ON (better) = 60fps stable.

  • Where would i get one of theses Labtop's ? I looked on wal-mart site Not even there !!

  • @TheSymbianFreak lmao i know
