I hear the LS engines are very light, this, coupled with the perfect weight distribution and handling, = MEGA DESTRUCTO-BLACK-HOLE-OPENER car

Ls1 weighs 400 lbs fully dressed. Just FYI.

I have a '86 944 N/A, and would love to have the V8 conversion. Whats the name of the shop that can do this conversion?
-
The complete kit with a brand new crate engine is around 14 grand from 944online, but I suspect that there may be other kits or ways of doing this, regardless, nice porsche.

@scv8dvc Well there's the 1911 .45 and then there's this! I had no idea you could put a ls engine in this car, we used to have one but some dumb ass t-boned it years ago.

was it a hard swap and are you using the stock gearbox ?

@rs200000000000 It's a relatively simple swap. I'm using a stock 944 Turbo gearbox. I changed the 5th gear out to the N/A gear as it's taller.
