In fact the smart car is one of the safest microcars ever build.

In a crash you're 10 times more fucked in an old compact car lika a FIAT.

comparing the smart to a big, heavy and expensive Mercedes car, is like comparing a car and a truck.

The mercedes's impact zone is 6 times bigger.

Besides, the integrity of the smart's safety cell was not affected in this test.

the proof is in the picture at 0:14 - the Smart Car has less then an inch of crumpled front end and no frame damage, and the other car has about 8 or 10 inches of crumpled front end and looks to be in much worse shape.

Smart cars are midengine rear wheel drive, that can be faster than lambo's with just a swap of the engine with a cheap hyabusa engine. Compare that to a POS fwd Civic si and pick the former, you're an idiot.
