  • Aluminum bromide smoke. Don't breathe this!

  • Thumbs up if you stumbled upon this doing a science project on either aluminum or Bromine.

  • PS: WHAT THE FACK WAS THAT!? (epic)

  • because i couldn't tell the difference between aluminium and bromine.

  • @GerryRich100 Aluminium (+13) brom (+35) if u know how to make atoms then u see why

  • @thupratvideo

    Br3? now where are you getting that?

  • @GerryRich100 Al + Br3 ---> AlBr3

  • @thienlongist

    2Al + 3Br2 > 2 ALBr3

  • @pattybridge1 A teacher should be sufficient to explain: attach a clamp capable of stably holding a test tube to a ring stand. Put a test tube in that clamp, pour the bromine into the test tube, and then carefully lower your rolled aluminum foil into the test tube. As always, wear proper safety equipment: gloves, an apron, and goggles; and do this under a fume hood!

    As an added bonus, get the class to use stoichiometry to calculate how much bromine is needed! Yay, science.

  • Too much for a primary classroom. Needs audio to explain the procedure.

  • BREATH DEAPLY
