NFC isn't a app it's a chip. There 2 models of the gs2 NFC one and one without like I got the one without they only sell in certain country.

How will i know if the checkout device is NFC capable? Will it have one of those wireless symbols like they have on credit cards right now?

@spiky0eng Your phone needs to physically have the chip in the phone. So no software upgrade is going to provide NFC to your phone, unless you buy a new one with he 'upgraded' hardware.

I have the mid. East version and it has NO NFC at all
