The White Horse Temple (Baima Si) was founded in 68 AD and claims to be the first Buddhist temple in China. Big story about white horses with two Indian monks bringing Buddhism to China and the two stone horses by the entrance honor them. It is a place of worship.

From there to something completely different, the hustle and bustle of the Yellow River Park. It was May Day and the area was jumping with families spending the day. But if you actually expect a clear view of the Yellow River, forget it. You may be old and very gray. Pollution, pollution, pollution.
