I read some of your responses about the public housing- Allen Wilson Terrace-, and I don't know anything about the Decatur Housing Authority and I'm sure what your saying is all well but Atlanta lied and took it in another direction and honestly I'm sure Decatur will probably do the same. I agree with some of the other comments- I doubt the residents will move back.
Decatur Housing Authority mission statement is a joke. The Allen Wilson Terrace projects and other area projects are to be turned into townhomes and condo for the rich. The City of Decatur is doing everything in their power to "rid" themselves from low income families.
The City has become the land of the greedy.
Yeah, it's greater in Decatur. Greater in taxes...crime...kicking the poor to the curb.

You can say anything that will get you asleep at night. But, I have friends who live in those projects and they tell a different story.
Decatur will be moving them out just like the other project throughout Metro Atlanta, such as Eastlake Projects.

Where is Oakview and spring pointe? Are they in downtown Decatur like Allen Wilson and Swanton Heights?
