HG 1/100 Gundam X - After War gunpla plastic model review

http://www.gundam.tk | http://twitter.com/gundamtk | Garrod Ran's first lead Gundam from the series Gundam X. This is it's original form, even though it was later upgraded (in terms of practicality) into the X Divider. Overall, this is a surprisingly fun kit, despite the fact that it's from 1996. But that won't stop me from buying a MG of course the day it comes out. I have no plans to get the Divider in the near future, because it's just a diferent backpack. Don't forget to check out the Double X as well!

Yes, they have a HG 1/100 X Divider you can buy.

OMG I love Garrod Ran! He's one of my favorite protagonists. Did they make a Gundam Ashtaron or Gundam Vertigo modle kits?

There's a HG 1/100 kit of the first Virsago, and in 1/144 they have an Ashtaron, and both Virsago and Virsago Chest Break.

There is no MG of any of the Gundam X suits, and nothing announced for the future. Also, no V Gundam, or Gundam Wing (outside of EW).

i wonder why bandai didn't make new gundam X kits. i like x and dx model. would love to see bandai make new kits for this. either in mg or rg.

I think a MG version of the X would use an inner frame similar to Wing or F91, a new mount mechanism, a cleaner look with less panel lines, and anime accurate colors. Although I would keep the shiny panels that make up the Satellite Weapon system.

the green part for the chest isn't supposed to stick out like that. You have to push the part in.

1/144 of this kit was my first kit. And I got the 1/100 X-divider and use the left over shoulder gun from the X on the 1/144.
