I've been asked by a few friends of mine to cut the film "Brokeback Mountain" down to just the juicy bits. Basically, despite all of the hoo hah over it being a film about gay cowboys, there's one scene in a tent and then one scene in the back of a car. And the one in the car is between a guy and a girl. Go figure!
Anyway, I could've done that .. I could've put together the highlights but you know what? That's no fun.

Instead, I got my two friends Bud and Jed to read out the saucy bits of the novel. Or should I say 'pamphlet'. What the hell? Shortest book ever. Why even make that into a movie?

  • What did Ennis (Ledger's character) say at the beginning of the first clip?

  • I thought he was saying "what are you doing?". But like, really drunk sounding.

  • @Zebonka It's a great movie, though. Have you seen the whole thing?

  • Indeed I have! I thought it was well filmed and the two actors did a good enough job of it. I think, at times, it was a bit obvious that the movie was based on a very short book and possibly suffered a bit for it. The ending was done very well.

  • 24 people lick hot cocks!

  • @Zebonka Interesting. I think I'll have to read the story, too. I haven't seen the ending yet, but am a bit reluctant (though I will) because it's sad.

  • @Zebonka Thank you! I found the whole movie (what I've seen of it so far, I mean) very difficult to hear and understand what the actors are saying. They really mumble and I was watching it on Netflix streaming, so there are no subtitles to turn on.

  • Heroes tend not to be drug addicts..
