You love "Float On" by Modest Mouse. I do too. You love Modest Mouse so much, that you long wondered whether they are referencing Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky in their band name. But then the internet got better, and then you learned that they reference a passage by Virginia Wolff, when she refers to a "modest mouse" in her story "The Mark on the Wall". But the question remains: was /she/ making a little pun about Modest Mussorgsky?
